Five players selected for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches against Sierra Leone have reported for international duty in Benin City, Edo State, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho and Stoke City loanee Oghenekaro Etebo are among the early arrivals in the Super Eagles camp.
Joining the duo are Sparta Rotterdam goalkeeper Maduka Okoye, captain Ahmed Musa and Racing Genk striker Paul Onuachu.
Iheanacho and Etebo were involved in some capacity with their respective clubs in league matches in Europe yesterday with the striker watching proceedings from the bench in Leicester City's 1-0 vs Wolverhampton Wanderers while the midfielder was in action for nine minutes in Galatasaray's 2-1 win at Sivasspor.
Nigeria have a double header against Sierra Leone to contend with in the last international window of 2020.
Gernot Rohr's team face the Leone Stars at home on November 13 before heading for the away game at the Siaka Stevens Stadium on November 17.
