Allnigeriasoccer.com's round up of Nigeria-eligible players that scored or assisted for their respective clubs on matchday one of the Europa League on Thursday, October 22.
At the Tallaght Stadium, former Manchester City trialist Ohi Anthony Omoijuanfo scored the game-winning goal for Molde in a 2-1 road win against Irish club Dundalk.
Omoijuanfo tucked home from the penalty spot in the 72nd minute to secure all three points for the Norwegian outfit.
The best individual performance was from Super Eagles striker Kelechi Iheanacho who notched two assists before wrapping up the scoring as Leicester City thrashed Zorya 3-0 at the King Power Stadium.
James Maddison opened the scoring 29 minutes in after Iheanacho set him up and it became 2-0 in the 45th minute, Harvey Barnes the scorer after a cute backheel from the Nigerian.
The Foxes were three goals to the good when their number 14 shot low from 15 meters following a defensive error from Ivanisenia midway through the second half.
In an eight-goal thriller at the Estadio de la Ceramica, Villarreal beat Sivasspor 5-3 in a Group I clash.
Kubo deservedly gave the Yellow Submarine the lead in the 13th minute after goalkeeper Samassa spilled a shot from Samuel Chukwueze.
Bacca doubled the advantage before Olarenwaju Kayode's emphatic finish made it 2-1 in the 33rrd minute.
Villarreal's other scorers were Foyth and Alcácer(2) while Yatabaré and Gradel also netted for the visitors.
