Twenty-three Nigerian players have been given the all-clear to face Tunisia in this evening's friendly at the Jacques Lemans Arena, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
The Nigeria Football Federation have officially informed that all the Super Eagles players have tested negative to coronavirus following the second round of testing since their arrival in Austria.
Including Tobias Lawal, 26 players were in camp for the friendly against African champions Algeria but manager Gernot Rohr won't count on the services of three players for today's clash with the Aigles de Carthage.
While Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu has returned to France after suffering an injury in Friday's friendly, new Watford signing William Troost-Ekong has flown back to England and LASK goalkeeper Lawal has not yet procured a Nigerian passport.
The most recent meeting between Nigeria and Tunisia was in the third place off at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, a game the Super Eagles won courtesy of Odion Ighalo's early strike.
Chidera Ejuke, Dele Alampasu, Mathew Yakubu, Chidozie Awaziem, Kenneth Omeruo, Jamilu Collins, Ola Aina and Cyriel Dessers will be hoping to taste action today after they were non-playing substitutes vs Algeria.
