Marseille Join Race To Sign Sheffield United-Linked Striker Dennis
Published: September 09, 2020
Marseille are the latest club linked with a move for Nigeria national teamer Emmanuel Dennis who is also attracting interest from English Premier League side Sheffield United.
According to Eurosport journalist Manu Lonjon, Ligue 1 side Marseille have just entered the race to sign Club Brugge striker Dennis.
The 22-year-old has already played two games in the Belgian First Division A this term despite speculation linking him with a departure from the Belgian champions before the transfer window closes for business.
He put himself in the shop window last season after scoring a brace against Real Madrid in a Champions League group stage match at the Santiago Bernabéu, before finding the net against Manchester United in the knockout round of the Europa League.
Club Brugge are resigned to losing Dennis and are willing to listen to offers for the striker who is valued at more than 20 million euros.
He has played nonstop at Club Brugge since 2017 after transferring from Zorya Lugansk in Ukraine.
