Promising Norrby IF goalkeeper Abraham Oluware has pledged his international future to Nigeria though he is eligible to represent three European nations.
The 2005-born glovesman is targeting a call-up to the Golden Eaglets ahead of the 2021 FIFA U17 World Cup after opting to represent the five-time world champions at international level.
"I was born in Boras, Sweden but I'm from Nigeria. My dad is Nigerian and my mom is Italian and Croatian, so I am eligible to represent Nigeria, Sweden, Italy and Croatia but I want to represent Nigeria, " Oluware said to allnigeriasoccer.com.
"I thank God I want to represent Nigeria because it's a country I love, it means a lot to me. Ever since I was a kid I have been supporting Nigeria and watching their games.
"I have been motivated and better in training because of my wish to represent Nigeria. Nigeria is in my blood, my brain and in my heart."
Oluware has lofty ambitions of becoming cap-tied to Nigeria by playing competitively for the Super Eagles in the coming years and one of his goals is to play for a big club outside Sweden.
"My dream is to come to Nigeria and play, not only for the youth teams, I want to play for the A Team.
"I want to play for the big clubs in the world and be promoted to Norrby IF's first team. Norrby is a great club that takes care of me and helped me to develop.
"My dream is not only to play football, I want to be a role model for the youths and to assist those who need help.
"In the next five years I hope by God's grace to play outside Sweden for great clubs," Oluware added.
Oluware has played for Norrby IF's U15 and U16 teams in the 2020 season.
