Austrian-Based Trio Reach Their Highest Market Value Since Turning Professional
Published: July 22, 2020Austrian-based youngsters of Nigerian parentage - Kelvin Arase, Emanuel Aiwu and Karim Adeyemi - have reached their highest market value since turning professional, allnigeriasoccer.com reports.
According to the latest market value updates published by Transfermarkt on July 22, Benin City born striker Arase is now valued at one million euros, 300,000 euros more than his previous best achieved in December 2019.
Arase, who has racked up 36 caps for Austria's youth teams, netted 5 goals in 25 matches for Rapid Vienna over the course of the 2019-2020 campaign.
Admira Wacker center back Emanuel Aiwu is valued at two million euros, which is double his value before the coronavirus pandemic.
An Austria U21 international, Aiwu appeared in 26 Austrian Bundesliga matches in the recently concluded season, logging 2,199 minutes.
Red Bull Salzburg's Germany youth international Karim Adeyemi is now rated at nine million euros, making him the fourth most expensive player in the whole of the Austrian Bundesliga and ninth among all players born in 2002.
