Through a statement on their official website, Cypriot First Division team Doxa Katokopias have confirmed the capture of experienced Nigeria national-teamer Taye Taiwo.
Though the length of contract signed by the three-time Africa Cup of Nations veteran has not been disclosed, allnigeriasoccer.com can report with certainty that the left-back has signed a one-year contract until the end of the 2020-2021 season.
Taiwo previously wore the colours of Marseille, AC Milan, QPR, Dynamo Kiev, Bursaspor, HJK Helsinki, Laussane, AFC Eskilstuna and RoPS.
Before moving to Europe, the defender played for Lobi Stars and Gabros in his homeland.
For the upcoming season, the free-kick expert has been allocated the number 33 jersey, which he used at Eskilstuna, Lausanne-Sport, HJK Helsinki and Dynamo Kiev.
At the moment, Taiwo is presently having his first training session with his new teammates at Doxa Katokopias.
