Ex-Flying Eagles Skipper And Golden Boy Nominee Utin Offered To Three Danish Clubs
Published: May 04, 2020Allnigeriasoccer.com has been told that former Flying Eagles skipper Ikouwem Utin is considering his future at Israeli Premier League club Maccabi Haifa following a lack of first team opportunities.
Since the left-back moved to Maccabi Haifa last summer, he has made only one start from a possible 33 in all competitions, logging a paltry 133 minutes.
Just before the close of the winter transfer market in Israel, Utin was on the brink of joining Hapoel Hadera, who offered him the chance to play regularly, only for the deal to fall through at the last minute.
The defender's camp has close ties with Randers, having brokered the deal that took former Manchester United midfielder Tosin Kehinde to the club in July 2019, and have opened talks with the Danish Superliga outfit about signing the former Enyimba star.
Utin has also been offered to Superliga strugglers Silkeborg IF and high-flying second-tier club Vejle ahead of the opening of the transfer window.
The 20-year-old, who has a contract with Maccabi Haifa until 2023, was nominated for the prestigious Golden Boy award in 2019.
