'As Long As My Teammates, Coach, Fans Believe In Me' - Ighalo On Proving The Naysayers Wrong
In his second start for Manchester United, Odion Ighalo got his second and third goals for the Red Devils in a 3-0 rout of Derby County in the Emirates FA Cup on Thursday night.

Luke Shaw of all people put Manchester United on their way with the opener in the 33rd minute, Ighalo found the bottom corner to make it 2-0 four minutes before halftime, then got his brace when he scored with a left-footed shot after his initial effort was cleared off the line at minute 70.

Speaking to BT Sport immediately after yesterday's game at Pride Park, Ighalo said : "I'm happy for the goals first of all. I want to congratulate the team, it was a hard-fought game, we won that is the most important thing, we are through to the quarterfinals."

Naysayers questioned Manchester United's swoop for Ighalo in the final hours of the January transfer window and the former Super Eagles star is beginning to make doubters eat their words.

"As long as my teammates believe in me, the boss believes in me, the fans believe in me, so I just have to keep going. I don't care what people say outside," the United number 25 added.

Up next for the in-form Ighalo and his teammates is a Premier League clash against reigning champions Manchester City on Sunday, March 8.
