Lacazette Labels Saka 'The Best Young Player In The Premier League'
Published: February 26, 2020Arsenal star Alexandre Lacazette has named Bukayo Saka as the best young player in the English Premier League.
Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal), Mason Greenwood (Manchester United), Adam Idah (Norwich City), Harvey Elliott (Liverpool) and Matty Longstaff (Newcastle United) are some of the exciting teenagers to have played in the Premier League this season but Lacazette believes Saka is the pick of the bunch.
Blessed with pace and offensive attributes, the versatile Saka has proved his worth since forcing his way into Arsenal's first team even though he has been made to play out of position for more than two months now.
Speaking to reporters at Wednesday's pre-match press conference ahead of the visit of Olympiakos, Lacazette said :"It's nice [that Arsenal's young players are doing well]. It's good for the club. They are listening, so it's good for us.
"[Bukayo Saka is] really good. Maybe the best young player in the league. You can see the quality he has and he's humble and accepts critiques because he wants to improve".
Saka has been nominated for Arsenal's Player of the Month for February along with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Shkodran Mustafi and David Luiz.
