(Snapped) Saka Undergoing Full Training With Arsenal In Dubai After Injury Vs Burnley
Published: February 07, 2020Arsenal are holding a warm-weather training camp in Dubai, United Arab Emirates as part of their preparations for the upcoming meetings against Newcastle United and Olympiakos in the Premier League and Europa League respectively.
Nigerian winger Bukayo Saka has presumably recovered from injury as he was pictured undergoing full training with the first team players on Friday.
The Hale End Academy product suffered a knock in his knee and hip in the 25th minute against the Clarets and was forced off at half-time but it appears his injury is not as bad as initially feared.
And this would be sweet music to the ears of manager Mikel Arteta as first-choice left-back Kieran Tierney is not expected to be back in action until next month.
Saka has filled in for the Scotland international and Sead KolaĊĦinac in recent weeks, with the winger playing up to nine matches in all competitions as a makeshift fullback due to the unavailability of the experienced duo.
The 18-year-old has received plaudits for his performances, especially against Bournemouth where he netted a goal and provided an assist.
The Gunners will be returning to England on Tuesday, February 11.
