'We Have To Work For It' - Leicester's Ndidi Looks Ahead To Watford Clash
Published: December 03, 2019Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has remained modest ahead of the visit of Watford to the King Power Stadium on Wednesday, December 4.
While the Foxes are seeking their seventh consecutive win in the Premier League, the Hornets are languishing in 20th place on the table, winning only one of their last five matches.
Watford sacked manager Quique Sanchez Flores last weekend following a poor run of results and tomorrow's game will be overseen by Hayden Mullins and Graham Stack.
''I would say that it doesn’t come that easy. We have to work for it. We’ve been working for it, we have to work for it, stay focused, and be determined,'' Ndidi told Leicester City's official website.
"We just work towards it and then let’s see how the game goes, but the manager, he sees the game and then he makes the formation. Before the game, we’re always ready."
Watford U23s top scorer Joseph Hungbo has a slim chance of making his Premier League debut against Leicester City having trained with the first team on Monday.
Ndidi has only missed one of City's top-flight games so far this season and is set to make his 14th start against Watford.
