Official : Nigerian Striker Inks New Contract With Norwich City

Talented Nigerian teenage striker, Tyrese Omotoye has earned his first professional contract at Norwich City thanks to his impressive performances, the Premier League club has announced on its official website.

The 17-year-old will continue his developments with the club's U-18s as he bids to continue his upward curve of progression which has seen him become one of the most revered players in the club's youth setup.


"I feel like I've earned it. Everyday you've got to work hard for your place in the squad, so I'm very happy knowing that my hard work has paid off and is being shown", the delighted youngster said of the contract.

"Making it into the U18s line-ups is just the start, I want to progress through to the U23s, and then make it into the first-team. That's my main goal, above all else.

"Right now, I'm really focusing on improving every day so I can be the best player possible. I'm motivated by the thought of getting into that first-team squad."

Omotoye is eligible to represent three countries namely Belgium, England and Nigeria but has pledged his international allegiance with the West African nation.
