Arsenal Icon Robin van Persie Reveals Two Key Qualities Of Chelsea's Abraham
Published: October 06, 2019Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham has been in scintillating form since the start of the season and was recently rewarded with a recall to the England senior team after two years.
Arsenal icon Robin van Persie has praised the Blues number nine for his brilliant form after missing a penalty against Liverpool in the UEFA Super Cup.
The former Netherlands star mentioned that Abraham has two key attributes required to be a successful striker and spoke about the structure of the Chelsea team under manager Frank Lampard.
Speaking ahead of the game which is live on Sky Sports, van Persie said : ''In the Super Cup he (Abraham) missed a penalty which was a tough moment when you are a bit young.
''You could always see that he is fast, he is technical so he has a bright future ahead of him.
''Michael said it as well. What I like now about Chelsea, if I am really honest Chelsea is not really likeable, in the past buying the big stars, playing them, sometime winning a little bit dirty and it wasn't really fun to watch.
''Now I like to watch them because they are young, there's a nice mixture of stars and young talents, so it is now more fun to watch them''.
