Super Eagles head coach Gernot Rohr and captain Ahmed Musa were present to watch the evening training of the Olympic Eagles Saturday evening which was their second of the day.
Rohr addressed the players before the start of their session and was seen in very animated discussion with the U-23 boss, Imama Amakapabo after the intense training.
The players on the Team A side during the scrimmage consisted of big guns like Chidozie Awaziem, Francis Uzoho, Valentine Ozornwafor and Victor Osimhen (drafted from the Super Eagles team); Azubuike Okechukwu, Kelechi Nwakali, Samuel Chukwueze and Taiwo Awoniyi.
The Dream Team VII are expected to train next on Sunday evening.
Speaking after the training, coach Amapakabo spoke to the media, including allnigeriasoccer.com.
"Prior to the first game, we didn't have enough sessions to work out," he stated.
"Within yesterday and today, we've been able to put together two training sessions and I'm happy with the response from theĀ boys. It's been wonderful.
"My self and the head coach (Rohr) we work together. Most of the players even before these three (from the Super Eagles) were players that we had invited into the main team proper, so it was a matter of who is going to come to us and who is going to them (Super Eagles), " the coach admitted.
