Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Oghenekaro Etebo has put his injury worries behind him and it is confirmed that he has been named in Stoke City's match day eighteen for Saturday's EFL Championship clash against Reading at the Bet365 Stadium.
And if the last training session is anything to go by, the central midfielder is expected to get game time in addition to his inclusion on the official team sheet.
Etebo has been training alongside the rest of the Potters first-teamers throughout this week and was omitted from the squad against Derby County as a precaution.
The 23-year-old had been sidelined with a grade one muscular injury he sustained against Nottingham Forest about two weeks ago.
Etebo making the squad against The Royals has put an end to speculation regarding his availability for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match vs Seychelles in Asaba.
Meanwhile, Bordeaux winger Samuel Kalu is thought to be nursing an injury and has pulled out of the Super Eagles squad for their first two matches of 2019.
