Ola Aina's injury he suffered in the pre-match warm-up against Chievo Verona last weekend is not as bad as first feared, as the versatile defender returned to training on Friday afternoon.
Torino informed via their official website that the Nigeria international worked partially with the first-teamers in the afternoon session in Filadelfia.
There are hopes that the Super Eagles star will be in the traveling party to Frosinone, Lazio for Sunday's game at Stadio Benito Stirpe but a decision will only be made after he is evaluated on Saturday morning.
Aina sustained an abdominal injury just before the start of the match against Chievo and was replaced in the starting line-up by Argentine defender Cristian Ansaldi.
Things are looking positive on the injury front two weeks before the Super Eagles tackle Seychelles in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier as Brighton & Hove defender Leon Balogun has recovered from a shoulder complaint, leaving Oghenekaro Etebo as the only player listed as doubtful.
