As Nigeria and Niger prepare for the make-or-break clash in their final game of Group A which could determine their passage through to the semifinals as well as earn one of the tickets for the U20 World Cup in France, both managers are talking tough about the anticipated encounter.
The Flying Eagles are currently topping the standings in the group, having accrued four points from their first two games while tomorrow's rivals have two points after two draws.
Speaking to reporters in today's press conference Niger U20 head coach, Ismaïla Tiémoko was confident of his boys getting a good result and snatching qualification from their illustrious opponents.
"Impossible is not Nigerien, We will be entitled to a fair game and very open as it is the third match that is synonymous with qualification or elimination.
"We will make every effort to beat Nigeria to snatch the qualification."
Meanwhile, Nigeria manager, Paul Aigbogun downplayed the notion of treating Niger as underdogs, saying..
