The Flying Eagles kicked off their AFCON campaign in Niger on a winning note following their 2-0 victory over Burundi in Niamey on Saturday and will meet eternal rivals, South Africa tomorrow for their second Group A game.
Nigeria will qualify for the knockout phase if they find a way of beating the Amajita starlets tomorrow, and the talents of Nazifi Yahaya and co. is expected to prove instrumental once again.
Speaking to reporters in a press conference this afternoon, the former Ubuntu Cape Town gaffer was upbeat of their chances of qualifying for the mundial.
"We are entering a second game that will be different from the first which we won.
"I can't say that our team will play in the same style as against Burundi but we know one thing; we are here to qualify for the World Cup."
