Nigerian Defender Joins Manchester United, Barcelona Stars In U21 European Team of The Week

Nigerian starlet Jordan Torunarigha has been named in the U21 European Team of the Week for the second week running.
The Hertha BSC central defender has been selected in the best rated XI
from Europe’s top five leagues, comprising only of players aged 21 and
under by Whoscored.com.
Against Eintracht Frankfurt (1-0), Torunarigha helped goalkeeper Rune Jarstein post a shutout for the second successive match in the topflight.
Other players named to the U21 Team of the Week are : Emil Audero (Sampdoria), Fode Ballo-Toure (Lille), Cristian Romero (Genoa), Diogo Dalot (Manchester United), Kai Havertz (Bayer Leverkusen), Florian Neuhaus (Gladbach), Oscar Rodriguez (Leganes), Ousmane Dembele (Barcelona), Marcus Rashford (Manchester United) and Brais Mendez (Celta Vigo).
Explaining his choice of Jordan Torunarigha, Josh Wright wrote : ''Hertha Berlin defender Jordan Torunarigha retains a place in the U21 Team of the Week after another fine showing in a 1-0 win over Frankfurt.
''After scoring and assisting last week, the 21-year-old was more important at the back this time around to help Hertha keep a second successive clean sheet.
''Torunarigha won two tackles, made eight clearances, won one aerial duel and impressively completed 92% of his passes.''
