Chelsea And Liverpool Nigerian Stars Wanted By Aston Villa On Loan
Published: August 19, 2018Aston Villa are still pushing to sign two Nigerian stars before the close of the loan window in England on August 31.
BirminghamLive has reported that Aston Villa are tracking two Premier League players - including Chelsea's Tammy Abraham.
Aston Villa are hoping to achieve promotion to the Premier League this season and the England U21 striker could be signed on a permanent deal if they meet their target.
Teams in Holland and Italy, including Sampdoria, are are also battling to sign Abraham and the Serie A side have less than a week to complete the deal as the window to sign players from outside of Italy will close on August 25.
The 20-year-old was left of the Chelsea squad for their first two games in the Premier League against Huddersfield Town and Arsenal.
Aston Villa coach Steve Bruce is also in the market for a winger and both Sheyi Ojo and Everton's Yannick Bolasie are his targets.
Ojo found himself down the pecking order of wingers at Liverpool following the arrival of Switzerland World Cup star Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City.
