Alex Iwobi's First Words After Penning New Arsenal Deal
Published: August 03, 2018Alex Iwobi has expressed his delight at penning a new contract with Arsenal, admitting that Arsenal are well and truly in his blood.
Indeed, the Nigeria international first trained at Arsenal when he was six years old and has played nonstop at the North London club for sixteen years (and counting).
''It's always been my childhood dream to represent Arsenal, from young,'' Iwobi said to Arsenal Media.
''To get an extended contract is an amazing feeling and I hope I'm doing the Arsenal family proud, as well as my family

Iwobi made his first-team debut for the Gunners against Sheffield Wednesday in October 2015 and has racked up 98 appearances for the club, scoring nine goals.
He has featured in the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League.
