Official: Midfielder Heads On Loan After Penning New Chelsea Deal
Published: July 27, 2018Through a press release, Chelsea have announced that Ivory Coast international Victorien Angban has inked a one-year contract extension with the club.
The 21-year-old has been loaned out to French Ligue 2 side Metz for the whole of the 2018-2019 campaign.
Chelsea signed Angban in 2015 from Stade d'Abidjan following a successful trial but he has yet to debut for the Londoners.
Due to his lack of first-team opportunities at Stamford Bridge, he spent the last three years at Sint-Truiden, Granada and Waasland-Beveren.
Born in Abidjan, he played for Ivory Coast at U17 and U20 level before he was promoted to the senior team in 2015.
Victorien Angban was spotted by Chelsea at the age of fifteen.
