The Reds offered the striker fresh terms on the back of his impressive performances last season for Royal Excel Mouscron, for whom he scored ten goals in 31 matches across all tournaments.
Speaking on the new deal, Awoniyi said to the club's official website : ''I feel excited and I feel very happy.
''It has been three years since I first came to Liverpool. So far, so good. The last year was the best for me, it has been an amazing year so far.
