Official: Young Nigerian Duo Osadebe, Jaiyesimi Return To Parent Clubs
Published: May 09, 2018EFL League Two clubs Grimsby Town and Newport County have announced their retained lists following talks with the players that represented them in the 2017-2018 campaign.
Newport County have confirmed that Emmanuel Osadebe is one of five players returning to their parents clubs, the others being Ben White, Shawn McCoulsky, Aaron Collins and Tyler Reid.
Irish-born Osadebe, 21, joined Newport County on loan in the January transfer window and played only three games for the club before returning to Cambridge United in March 2018.
The midfielder lists Dundalk, Tottenham Hotspur and Gillingham amongst his former clubs.
Grimsby Town have reported that the highly-rated winger Diallang Jaiyesimi will not be extending his stay at the club, meaning he has to return to Norwich City, from where he was signed on loan in August 2017.
The 20-year-old made his professional debut for Grimsby Town in a League Two tie against Coventry City and racked up an impressive 35 appearances for the club in all competitions.
A product of Aspire Academy, Jaiyesimi has a contract with Norwich City until June 30, 2020, with the option of a further year.
