Huddersfield Town Expert : Young Philip Billing Has A Lot Of Potential
Published: April 13, 2018Ahead of Watford's Premier League clash against Huddersfield Town at The John Smith's Stadium, the official website of the Hornets approached Blake Welton from the Huddersfield Examiner to give the lowdown on the Terriers.
Welton explained that Denmark U21 international of Nigerian descent Philip Billing has yet to establish himself as a regular in Huddersfield Town's starting line-up owing to injuries but pointed out that he has a lot of talent and potential.
The holding midfielder was on the sidelines from October 2017 to January 2018 after undergoing ankle surgery.
''He's been in and out of the side, to be honest. He's not a mainstay as Wagner likes to go with Aaron Mooy and Jonathan Hogg as the holding midfield two,'' Blake Welton told Watford's official website.
''Billing has been stop-start because of a couple of injuries, but he's definitely a young lad with a lot of potential.
''But that's all it is at the minute – just potential. He needs to be more consistent.''
Philip Billing made his 50th league appearance for Huddersfield after coming off the bench in the 81st minute against Brighton & Hove last weekend.
