Chuks Aneke, Solomon-Otabor On Target For MK Dons, Blackpool
Published: November 11, 2017Chuks Aneke's 43rd minute strike proved decisive as it was all that separated his Milton Keynes Dons side from Fleetwood Town in an EFL League one encounter on Saturday evening.
It was the 24-year old midfielder's second goal in seven appearances for The Dons of Mk though the win could not lift them above their opponents on the league log.
They still remain adrift in 14th with 22 points, trailing 8th placed Fleetwood by three points after 17 round of games.
In another League One fixture, Blackpool who hosted Portsmouth fell to a 3-2 defeat, with Viv Solomon-Otabor getting on the scoresheet for The Seasiders, he pulled his side level in the 74th minute after Brett Pitman had earlier put Portsmouth ahead.
Further strikes from Ben Close and another from Pitman to mark his double edged the clash in the favour of Portsmouth.
Blackpool stay in 13th on the division table with 22 points, a point less than their opponents who are in 11th though the former do have a game in hand.
