Versatile Super Eagles Defender Ebuehi Named To Eredivisie Team Of The Week
Published: October 25, 2017Super Eagles rising star Tyronne Ebuehi has landed a spot in the Dutch Eredivisie Team of the Week for week nine.
Fox Sports has taken note of his performance against VVV Venlo in which he provided an assist for ADO Den Haag's first goal scored by Erik Falkenburg in the 66th minute.
Though more comfortable as a right back, Ebuehi partnered Excelsior star Milan Massop in central defense in a 4-3-3 formation.
The Haarlem, Netherlands-born defender earned his place in the ceremonial best eleven players after scoring ten points in the ratings.
This season, Ebuehi, who can also operate as a left-back and right winger, has started each of the nine games contested by ADO Den Haag in the division and clocked up 765 minutes.
It is all but confirmed that he will return to the Nigeria squad for their upcoming games against Algeria and Argentina.
