Madjer's Message To Super Eagles : You Will See The Real Face Of Algeria
Published: October 20, 2017New Algeria coach Rabah Madjer has sent a message to the Super Eagles ahead of his side's World Cup qualifier with the Russia-bound team on November 10.
The Porto legend has stressed that the Greens will defend the colours of Algeria despite their elimination from the 2018 World Cup qualifying race.
''We will defend the honor of Algeria in the next match against Nigeria. You will see the real face of the national team after the match against Nigeria,'' Madjer said at Thursday's press conference, according to Le Buteur.
''It's true that we are eliminated from the race at the World Cup, but we will play this match Nigeria with the aim of honoring the colors of Algeria.''
Questioned about the players he is planning to call up for the Nigeria match, Madjer answered : ''We will give you the list soon.
''We will meet in the coming days to decide, but what is certain is that we will not change anything. There will not be many changes. A radical change before this match will cost us a lot.''
Nigeria qualified for next summer's showpiece with a game to spare after beating Zambia 1-0 in Uyo on October 7.
