Confirmed : Victor Moses Ruled Out Of World Cup Qualifier Vs Algeria
Published: October 16, 2017Gernot Rohr won't be able to count on the services of Victor Moses for the Super Eagles World Cup qualifying match against Algeria in Constantine on November 10.
Rohr's worst fears have now been confirmed by Chelsea medics, who have informed the number fifteen that he faces a minimum of one month on the sidelines after damaging his hamstring against Crystal Palace last weekend.
Against the Eagles, Moses went down clutching his hamstring five minutes before halftime, which led to his substitution.
''It is confirmed that Moses has suffered a hamstring injury, and he will be out of action for between 4-6 weeks,'' a top source close to right wing-back told allnigeriasoccer.com.
With the Super Eagles already qualifying for the World Cup, Moses is a huge loss for Antonio Conte with the Premier League champions having crucial matches against Roma and Manchester United in the next one month.
The Nigerian will also miss games against Watford, Everton, AFC Bournemouth and West Brom.
