Third Game In A Row : Moses Among CAF Best XI Players Of Match Day Five WCQ
Published: October 10, 2017Chelsea star Victor Moses has been named in the ceremonial best eleven players of Match day 5 from the World Cup qualifiers by the governing body of African Football, CAF.
And joining the Blues number fifteen in the starting line-up is Anorthosis Famagusta defender Abdullahi Shehu, his first appearance in the best eleven since the start of the World Cup qualifiers.
Moses has been the Super Eagles standout player on the road to Russia, and his latest recognition is the third successive game he has been chosen among the continent's finest.
In a 4-4-2 formation, Moses started on the right side of midfield, and Percy Tau (South Africa), Youssef Msakni (Tunisia) and Mbark Boussoufa (Morocco) were also handed roles in the center of the pitch.
Abdullahi Shehu, who was officially named the Man of the Match against Zambia, got CAF's nod at right-back.
