Moses & Mikel Start, Iwobi & Aina Bench As Nigeria Anounce Starting Line-Up Vs Zambia
Published: October 07, 2017Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr has announced his starting line-up for Saturday evening's vital World Cup qualifier against Zambia at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, starting from 1700 hours.
Rohr had already decided two days ago to start FC Ifeanyi Ubah goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa ahead of Chippa United's Daniel Akpeyi and he's sticking to the original plan.
The German has opted to field a back four with Abdullahi Shehu, William Troost-Ekong, Leon Balogun and Elderson Echiejile all starting, meaning Chelsea's Ola Aina will make his debut off the bench if he's considered by the coach.
Eddy Onazi has gotten the nod over Oghenekaro Etebo in midfield, while captain Obi Mikel and Wilfred Ndidi also start.
