Super Eagles Lucky Charm: Nigeria Have Never Lost Or Drawn A Game Ighalo Has Scored
Published: October 06, 2017Ahead of Nigeria's World Cup qualifier against Zambia on Saturday, former Watford striker Odion Ighalo remains confident that the Super Eagles will secure their place at the 2018 World Cup finals.
Based on the Super Eagles' training sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday open to the media and fans and yesterday's training behind closed doors, manager Gernot Rohr is relying on Ighalo to produce the goods as the German is planning to hand him the number nine jersey.
''I am expecting a tough game but with hard work, determination and mostly, by the Grace of God, we are going to win,'' said Ighalo to the Nigeria Football Federation.
''We will qualify for the World Cup. We have what it takes.''

The Super Eagles faithful will be praying that Ighalo scores against the Copper Bullets as the national team have never lost or drawn a game in which he found the back of the net and it has been more than two years now.
The Super Eagles beat Chad, Cameroon twice and Luxembourg in the games the Changchun Yatai star registered his name on the score-sheet.
