Abraham, Uwakwe Feature As Chelsea Thrash Fulham 6-1 In U18 Premier League
Chelsea demolished Fulham 6-1 at  Cobham Training Centre (Stoke d'Abernon, Surrey) on Saturday afternoon to maintain their one hundred percent record in the U18 Premier League.

Two players of Nigerian descent were involved in the game, Tariq Uwakwe started for the champions while Nigeria Football Federation target Timmy Abraham entered into the fray in the 58th minute.

The game already ended as a contest by the end of the first half, with Gilmour, Taylor-Crossdale (3) and Redan finding the net for the home team after John Harris had given the visitors the lead in the 23rd minute.

Uwakwe was involved in the build up for the first and fourth goals scored by Chelsea after the Fulham defense failed to deal with two corner kicks played by the versatile midfielder.

The 17-year-old was not considered for England's U19s latest roster due to his lack of game time at the Blues in August and September.

Fulham's Timmy Abraham, who recently held talks with Nigeria Football Federation supremo Amaju Pinnick over his international future, has netted three goals for the U18s across all competitions this season.

His elder brother Tammy Abraham has been loaned out by Chelsea to Premier League rivals Swansea City.
