Jordon Ibe Praised For His Moment Of Magic Vs Brighton
Published: September 16, 2017Jordon Ibe has earned praised from manager Eddie Howe for his performance in Bournemouth's 2-1 win over Brighton & Hove in the Premier League on Friday night.
The former England U21 international of Nigerian descent hopped off the bench in the 65th minute with the Cherries trailing by one goal and he made the difference after providing two assists.
''His backheel was a moment of magic and the weight of his pass to Defoe was perfect so it’s really pleasing to see,'' Howe told Bournemouth's official website.
''He’s a player of immense promise and it’s easy to underestimate how young he is because he’s been around for a long time.
''He’s still learning but has the attitude to improve and that’s shown this season where he’s come back a better player.''
Liverpool product Jordon Ibe was Bournemouth's previous record signing before Nathan Ake was signed from Chelsea in the summer transfer market.
