Nigerian Midfielder Eligible To Represent Manchester United In UEFA CL As Mourinho Names Squad
Nigerian midfielder Tosin Kehinde and United States youth international Matthew Olosunde have both been omitted from Manchester United Champions League squad.

Kehinde, 19, can still play for the Red Devils in the competition if manager Jose Mourinho submits his name to UEFA by no later than 24:00CET the day before a group match.

The Lagos-born youngster has played nonstop at Manchester United for the past three years and is eligible to be named on the List B, whereas Olosunde can't be registered as he officially joined the club on March 11 2016.

According to UEFA, a player may be registered on List B if he is born on, or after, 1 January 1996 and has been eligible to play for the club concerned for any uninterrupted period of two years since his 15th birthday.

The two players have yet to debut for the first team of the Old Trafford outfit but are very important members of the U23 squad.
