Swansea City Coach Clement : It Is Good Abraham Is Scoring But....
Published: August 27, 2017Swansea City coach Paul Clement reserved special praise for Tammy Abraham in the wake of his team's 2-0 win at Crystal Palace on game week three in the Premier League on Saturday.
But the manager has admitted that the Chelsea loanee still needs to improve in certain areas, despite the striker netting in his last two matches across all competitions.
''It’s good that the strikers are scoring and it’s a real positive for us,'' Clement told Swansea City's official website yesterday.
''Jordan (Ayew) and Tammy (Abraham) backed up their midweek goals with two in the Premier League today.
''The fact that Tammy is off the mark in the Premier League is good for him. He’s very happy with his contribution today, but he knows he still has a lot to work on in his game.''
Since turning professional, the 19-year-old Abraham has netted 25 goals from 47 matches, while providing four assists.
