Super Eagles star Victor Moses returns to the Blues starting XI after serving his suspension last weekend versus Burnley.
England U20 international Fikayo Tomori will be hoping to make his second appearance in the English top-flight off the bench, while Spurs attacking midfielder Dele Alli starts for the home team.
Chelsea's record signing Alvaro Morata has been handed his full debut by manager Antonio Conte after making two appearances off the bench in the last two games.
Another new signing in Tiemoue Bakayoko makes his Premier League debut for the champions.
