Published: August 19, 2017For the second week running, Jose Mourinho's Manchester United demolished their opponents in the Premier League, after thrashing Tammy Abraham's Swansea City 4-0 at the Liberty Stadium in Wales on Saturday afternoon.
Swansea City gave as good as they got in the first half but found themselves behind in the 45th minute despite their hard work.
Ivory Coast international Eric Bailly opened the scoring for the visitors when he tapped the ball in after a header from Paul Pogba had hit the crossbar.
In the 80th minute, Romelu Lukaku maintained his perfect Manchester United scoring record by doubling his team's advantage, with the impressive Henrik Mkhitaryan providing the assist.
Paul Pogba made it 3-0 in the 82nd minute with a sublime finish, just before Chelsea loanee Abraham left the pitch to be replaced by Oliver McBurnie in a tactical substitution.
Swansea City defense backed off, allowing substitute Anthony Martial to score Manchester United's fourth goal in the 84th minute.
Henrik Mkhitaryan picked up the man of the match award from the broadcasters.
