Nigeria Star Among 11 Academy Graduates As Arsenal Promote Three To First-Team
Published: August 18, 2017Arsenal have promoted three promising youngsters to the first team after impressing manager Arsene Wenger in pre-season.
Reiss Nelson, Joe Willock and Cohen Bramall have been elevated and are now part of Arsene Wenger’s squad for this campaign.
Of the 36 players currently in Arsenal's first team, eleven graduated from the Hale End Academy, including Nigerian duo Alex Iwobi and Chuba Akpom.
Iwobi trialed with Arsenal for three years and officially signed for the north London club aged nine, while childhood pal Akpom has been on the books of the Emirates outfit for fifteen years.
