Manchester United Beat Juventus To Set Up Final Meeting With Real Madrid At Adidas Cup
Published: August 12, 2017Manchester United U18s have qualified for the final of the 2017 Adidas Youth Tournament in Herzogenaurach, Germany after a hard fought 1-0 victory over Italian club Juventus on Saturday.
England U17 international Angel Gomes hopped off the bench before netting the winner for the Red Devils.
Manchester United's reward for beating the Italian opponents is a meeting against Real Madrid in the final of the competition.
Born in London, Gomes made his competitive debut for the first team of Manchester United against Crystal Palace on May 21, 2017, aged 16 years and 263 days old.
He is the youngest-ever winner of the Jimmy Murphy Youth Team Player of the Year trophy at Manchester United.
