Arsenal 1 Sevilla 2: Iwobi Subbed In, Lacazette On Target, Oxlade-Chamberlain Sparkles

Arsenal found Sevilla a tough nut to crack in the final game of the 2017 Emirates Cup, losing 2-1 to the Spanish club at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday evening.

It was a foregone conclusion that Alex Iwobi was going to be named on the bench after playing 74 minutes of the 5-2 win over Benfica on Saturday, but the Nigeria international was later introduced in the 78th minute.

Sevilla's French striker Ben Yedder came closest to breaking the deadlock in the 15th minute, only for his shot to hit the post, then Arsenal's Bellerín missed a glorious opportunity when he leaned backwards before blasting the ball over the bar in the 22nd minute.

Aaron Ramsey fashioned an opportunity for himself in the 32nd minute but his shot taken from inside the 18-yard box went wide.

Carlos Joaquín Correa gave Sevilla the lead three minutes into the second half with a composed finish inside the box.

The Gunners record signing Lacazette netted his first goal at the Emirates on 62 minutes to get Arsenal back on terms, slotting home at the far post after great work from the lively Oxlade-Chamberlain.
 
Steven N'Zonzi restored The White and Reds one-goal cushion when his beautiful left-footed shot sailed beyond Čech with 21 minutes left on the clock.

Arsenal won the Emirates Cup by virtue of a superior goal difference over Sevilla.
