Chelsea Goal Machine Ike Ugbo Scores Twice In Barnsley Win Vs Rochdale
Published: July 25, 2017The prolific Chelsea loanee Ike Ugbo opened his goalscoring account for EFL Championship outfit Barnsley as they claimed a 2-0 win over Rochdale in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday night.
After a goalless first half, The Reds took the lead in the 69th minute through Ugbo, who came off the bench at half-time.
The 18-year-old was on hand to scramble the ball home from close-range after Bradshaw's header was saved.
With a minute remaining, Ike Ugbo netted his second goal in a Barnsley shirt when he rounded the goalkeeper before rolling the ball into an empty net.
Regarded as one of the most talented players to come through Chelsea's academy, Ugbo has been loaned out to Barnsley for the entirety of the 2017-18 season.
