UEFA Stops Manchester United African Star From Facing Real Madrid In Super Cup
Manchester United African star Eric Bailly has been handed a three-game ban by European football governing body UEFA following the incident that occurred in the second leg of the Europa League semifinal against Celta de Vigo on May 11.

In the 87th minute, the 23-year-old was shown a straight red card by referee Hațegan for pushing Celta Vigo's Guidetti in the face and sending the player to the ground.

The Ivory Coast national-teamer was not available for selection against Ajax Amsterdam in the final, and will now miss the UEFA Super Cup final against Real Madrid on August 8 and the Red Devils first Champions League clash of the forthcoming season.

After a hearing, Eric Bailly's suspension was increased to three games by UEFA.

The central defender joined Manchester United in the summer of 2016 from Spanish outfit Villarreal.
