Super Eagles Star Iwobi Notches Assist Again As Arsenal Beat WS Wanderers
Premier League side Arsenal recorded an impressive 3-1 win over A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers at ANZ Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Nigeria international Alex Iwobi made his first start for the Gunners since March 4, 2017 when he lasted 90 minutes against Liverpool, and was in action for 67 minutes today against the Australian opponents.

Arsenal led 3-0 heading into the interval, with goals from Olivier Giroud, Aaron Ramsey and Mohamed Elneny .

The Egypt international made it 3-0 in the 44th minute when he received a pass from Iwobi and his shot from outside the box was deflected into the goal.

On 57 minutes, Steven Luštica reduced the deficit when he scrambled home after the Gunners defense had failed to deal with a free kick.

Arsenal will face Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich at the Shanghai Stadium (China) in their next pre-season friendly on Wednesday, July 19.
