Arsenal Talent Iwobi Pleased To Assist Lacazette For His Debut Goal
Published: July 13, 2017Nigeria international Alex Iwobi was pleased to figure in Arsenal's routine 2-0 victory over Sydney FC on Thursday, and delighted to assist Gunners newcomer Alexandre Lacazette score on his debut.
For the third consecutive season, the Arsenal number seventeen is training with the first team in pre-season, and will be hoping to catch the eye of manager Arsene Wenger in the next four weeks after losing his first team shirt at the tail end of the 2016-17 campaign.
After coming off the bench in the 68th minute, the highlight of Iwobi's performance against the defending A-League Champions was in the 83rd minute when his cross found Lacazette, who fired the ball home to double the visitors advantage.
