Nigerian Whizkid, Dubbed The New Dani Alves, Named In Man Utd Squad To Face Arsenal
Published: May 06, 2017Nigerian wonderkid Matthew Olosunde is in line to make his professional debut for Manchester United when they square off against Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday, May 7.
Manager Jose Mourinho has included the defender in a 22-man squad for the visit to the Emirates Stadium in London.
The Portuguese tactician is expected to rest Eric Bailly, Marcus Rashford, Jesse Lingard and Antonio Valencia, so Olosunde stands a good chance of making a match day squad for a Premier League game for the the first time in his career.
The American-born Olosunde has appeared 16 times for the U23 squad of the Red Devils this season, scoring one goal and providing four assists.
The 19-year-old can be deployed at defensive midfield, centre-back and right back, and has been dubbed the new Dani Alves.
