Spurs U23 Coach Ugo Ehiogu Rushed To Hospital After Suffering Heart Attack
Published: April 20, 2017The coach of Tottenham Hotspur U23s Ugo Ehiogu suddenly lost consciousness at the Training Center on Thursday and was rushed to hospital.
The ex-England international of Nigerian descent supposedly had a heart attack.
''We can confirm that Ugo Ehiogu is currently in hospital after collapsing at our Training Centre earlier today,'' Spurs said in a statement published on their official webpage.
''Our Under-23’s coach received immediate treatment on site from our medical staff before being transferred to hospital by ambulance.
''Everyone at the Club sends their best wishes to Ugo and his family.''
The 44-year-old, who was a central defender before hanging up his boots, represented West Brom, Aston Villa, Middlesbrough, Leeds United, Rangers and Sheffield United.
Ugo Ehiogu has been working at Spurs since July 2014.
