Ex-Flying Eagles Skipper Named In Team Of The Week In The Netherlands
Published: April 18, 2017Abdul Ajagun has been named in the Eredivisie Team of the Week for his performance against Ryan Sanusi's Sparta Rotterdam this past weekend.
The ex-Flying Eagles captain put in an impressive display and scored two goals for Roda JC in their 3-1 win over the opponents.
Foxsports awarded Ajagun thirteen points and a spot in midfield alongside Mahi (FC Groningen), Davy Propper (PSV Eindhoven) and Django Warmerdam (PEC Zwolle).
The attacking midfielder managed to complete the game against Sparta despite sustaining an injury after scoring his first goal.
The 24-year-old is spending the whole of this season on loan at Roda JC before returning to his parent club Panathinaikos.
