Exclusive: Barcelona, Real Madrid Monitoring Promising Southampton Defender Olufunwa Oludare
Published: April 16, 2017The promising Southampton defender Olufunwa Oludare hopes to be successful in his audition at the prestigious Montaigu Tournament.
The young star was the only player of Nigerian descent in Southampton U16s traveling party to France, with Jonathan Afolabi and Michael Obafemi ineligible to participate.
During the tournament, the young Saints will face off against French clubs Marseille, Rennes, Vendee FC.
Allnigeriasoccer.com can exclusively report that Barcelona, Real Madrid, Hoffenheim and Borussia Monchengladbach have posted scouts to monitor the outstanding talents at the competition.
Oludare, who is eligible for Nigeria through his parents, has not been capped by England at youth level but that could change in the near future.
